Description

Actual Working Lantern 2 The lantern was black with a white logo printed on the side. Using a scrub pad, I buffed off the white logo, and roughed up the shiny plastic. Then, using acrylic metallic paints I dabbed a bronze color on the top and bottom sections, and copper in the center section. (I used paint with a metallic pearlescent look.) After they were dry, I took some turquoise colored paint and dabbed it in a few places on the copper section. I still need to protect it with a matt lacquer finish. I also plan to replace the wire bails with some rusty wire, or tarnished copper wire with a wooden handle. By the way, I think it would be cool of someone took this on as a project and created an asset for DAZ and Poser. It would be pretty simple.

I would love to see these as 3D assets - perfect for "Zombie Movie" renders!

If you havenĀ“t told us that it was black...we would not see the difference. Great work on the paint.
