Hello! My name is Teri and I've been around for over 69 years in various forms. I am happily married (51 years!), have two daughters and four grandchildren.
I discovered Poser 2 many years ago but didn't do much with it. In 2006 I found a copy of Poser 4 and got interested again. I was working in Poser 10 before I switched to Daz Studio in late 2017. I'm gradually getting the hang of most of it.
When not playing on the computer, I help my husband with his start-up Bio Tech business, refinish furniture, knit, crochet, and read. We grab our grandchildren every chance we get and delight in their antics.
Discovering this community has been a great source of fun and support in trying times.I am amazed at the level of talent I see in both the gallery and the products that are offered. It baffles me how little points on a screen can turn into people or trees and move. I'll always be blond I guess!
Thanks for looking.

Glad to see you posting again after all these months gone by, and only too glad to know that you've taken the path to recovery. This Fynne revisited by your skills and seen downwards from the camera, looks so elegant and determined, All the best to you, and thank you for your visit to my gallery ! Take good care !

Glad to see you are back... I waited a year to get a new computer/graphics card... I ended up getting a slightly smaller card (in stock) and I'm really having fun with it! I like the camera angle you did with this art piece... Very well done! Thanks for sharing and welcome back!

I like this scene--she looks like she's moved into a new domicile and is trying to decide where she "wants to put what where." Lighting and POV are nice too.

This is great, Teri! Maybe one day, I'll get DAZ working again and I can give Flynn a spin... (Poetic license... I just renewed it..😄) Sooooo good to see your art again, and even better news on your health! You've been missed, my friend!
Yeah, COVID just created all kinds of problems.... I'm hoping to get a 2TB M2 SSD for my DAZ machine, but dang..... The price$$$$ went out the roof.

Great scene and reflections in the mirror. To your cart I would say it takes at least another 6 months, because of production and the carts that were taken by miners of Bitcoins. This will also be with memory, which will rise 30 to 35%. On the other hand at the end of the year there will be DDR5 and suiting hardware. I would save for a new rig.

I'm glad to know you're doing better and if I judge by your recent posts, your talent has not been affected.

i've been off of rr more than on, and, when I come back, I'm slow in each gallery...I'm very sorry it took so long for me to come back to your gallery and sit with your work, once again. I've seen everything you've posted regardless. (I know I commented w/ my very best wishes when you posted about your accident, but I don't think I've commented since. I also admit I didn't get any ebots for a while, but eventually I just visited your gallery, as the ebot situation keeps repeating itself.) I'm very sorry for all the travail you've had, going back a ways, and I hope you've seen the last of it, Teri. I'm glad you're able to walk more, as I know it takes time, but I wish you all the power in the world to recover. I hope all else is going well for you and your loved ones, so you at least have all the support you need.
I'll do a representative sample of what you've posted; and as always, my choices are random---nothing you've posted is less worthy than anything else; I just can't write too much in one day. (My ailments are far less significant than yours, they're just painful; and I need to keep my limbs rested in between activity, since I use them for work.)
This has a photo quality---like a number of your pieces, it looks like it was set up in a studio, or maybe like it's a still from a movie. (That's all a compliment.) Love her pose---kind of daring, but also with some repose, and some vulnerability. You're really intuitive at this. The stuff around her is all doused in grays, blue grays, etc...cool neutral tones (w/ wonderful shadow in open spaces), which lets her stand out in her strong blacks and reds and great piercing eyes. I also love the downward pov---angling the room behind her, letting the table and mirror (which opens up the room!) climb up above her. Really a terrific "capture", like a photograph. And fascinating accessories too---the dizzy high rise photo, that great clock, etc. I really like this!
