Description

Harvesters were originally self fueled maintenance robots created by the Ancients to clear areas of “targets”. They served dual roles as predators (preying on a variety of programmed targets) and also as scavengers (clearing battlefields (or any area) of organic debris fungi, fecal matter, etc.). They can be programmed to save specific compounds, particles, and organs. For this reason, they are both feared and hunted. Some have been additionally programmed to to collect and/or dismantle technology - however they cannot make fuel from such items. Specimens have been opened to reveal harvested human organs, rare and precious elements. Being sturdily constructed, they are difficult to destroy and almost impossible to subdue. Now, Harvesters roam through the Wastelands, often quietly and softly drifting hundreds of feet above the ground. Heroes of all ages, sizes, backgrounds, and powers struggle to find, understand, and use the tools of yesterday to build a new and better world of Better Tomorrows. Illustration for the a post apocalyptic world RPG setting, the Iterum Initiative, I’m creating based on BRP - SRD v1.0 from Chaosium
