When I was a little girl, I could see Dragons. That's how I chose my name here at Renderosity. (Sometimes I can still see them.)
I have been an artist and a writer all my life - and have worked in acrylic on canvas as well as watercolor. I was best known for my watercolors of dream creatures - especially for my Dream Birds. Lots of my art and writing has been found in dreams.
In May of 2000, I did my first 3D picture on the computer. And I was hooked.
My Underground Shaman series - takes off where my 2D work left off. The faces of animals, human, and not-so-human always fascinate me and I like to use them as stylized motifs to create mandalas full of textures, patterns, colors and emotions.
With the internet, I discovered, that while some people make art to look at, I like to make art that looks at YOU! :-)
The Underground Shamans are Wise Ones from many worlds, realms, and dimensions. In mid-2002 the Dragon Fae also began appearing to humans - they are an interesting race, well-traveled, and good talkers.
My computer and software are now ancient, but they and my imagination are still working at the moment - more or less (as of August 2021)
Thank you for clicking through to this page and for taking the time to look at my dragongirl Gallery pictures here at Renderosity.

Interesting interpretation. It is true that there is too much fake news broadcasted on the net ! Great realization

I'm glad they released "Reality Winner" from prison. Although not technically a hacker, she released the truth. That is what I instantly thought of when I saw this image. So well depicted. I'm always impressed that you use your own textures. Very fine image.

some great comments here...I'm sorry I'm late to this, I was away, and I got no ebots (once again). So I finally just came to your gallery, and boom: Here's a new image from you! I love the tooth/knife-like protrusions on this shaman's head, and how you turned the traditional frock into this almost metallic body suit, it almost fits her/him like a well-molded coffin. Great color too---a pink-tinged flesh tone, with sand tones and peach tones---you do hues like this beautifully, it's one of your many trademarks. Those green eyes and super red lips (or tongue) really stand out by comparison. Your background is definitely a broadcast station, and I love the sleek lines and bright reds. And that bit "tank" on the right---I don't even wanna know what's in that thing! Just that I know it's reeeallly important, and we shouldn't mess with it. Finally, another of your beautiful dirty-pink-peach toned skies with, in this case, an amorphous greenish-blue ground---one of your many timeless landscapes that sit behind your shamans. This is like a broadcast outpost in the far nether-regions, w/ broadcasts that the powers-that-be don't want, but that this shaman still broadcasts because she/he simply must. A great visualization of a wise soul bringing messages that are not welcome by all, but essential to all. Terrific work, Rose. And I love your palette.
