Description

This was inspired by a new Summoner product "Klephei-tenta" (the creature on the right), which is obviously inspired by the creatures in H.P. Lovecraft's novella "At the Mountains of Madness." Sixus1's "Elder Thing" from a few years ago (on the left) was also from the same literary source. I thought a side-by-side comparison would be cool. The Klepei-tenta is much more fearsome looking, in my opinion. Figures in Poser, rendered in Vue, postwork in Paintnt or ON1 Effects Standalone 2020.

Hmm. "More Mountains More Madness" sounds like the kind of "posthumous collaborations" August Derleth might have gotten away with in the 1950s. It certainly sounds very authentic. Well done!

That's exactly what I was thinking about. I though briefly about the lower lettering saying "...and other posthumous sequels".
