after 7 years i'm finally getting around in adding some info on this page. never really thought about doing it. i have been a member here since July 15th 2006, and have learned alot from fellow artists. i would have about 1300 images or so posted but have deleated many of my first pieces. and still consider myself a developing artist at this wonderful site. i'm 56 years old this year "2013" and was born in North Dakota. i have lived in Colorado since 1967 and enjoy this place alot. my stepfather was in the air force and we lived in Bermuda after North Dakota for a few years before coming here where he got stationed.. and so much enjoy many of the finest artist in the world who post here.. love you all and your amazing friendships we share.. lol Steve
i enjoy working with poser, i have such a dinosaur version i use, (p6) wish i had poser 2012 at least. i also use photoshop 7 for most of my work i post here. but more so photography is my main passion, just hope to get a camera again someday.

p.s. not sure how high of a res pic i'm using for this page. take care and thanks a million you all.

more great work with color and design, Steve. The red in the background is eye-popping, and you have a "sun" pattern---rays shooting out from a center (the center's right around the "R" of "Gurlz"). The red seems to be on a fabric of some kind---we see that she's standing on a stage: Maybe that's a curtain. If so, it would fit your "Kiss" theme.
Your model is perfect for a magazine cover---walking away but turning to greet us, and a great combo of blacks and reds (even her lipstick and hair are black and red). And your usual panache with composition---love the font headlines, and the "Kiss," and how the microphone runs along the margin of your print on the right. (Do you realize how good your composition is? Students of commercial art study for months to get half of what you get.) And your usual homages to other artists...Another perfectly designed cover, with a gigantic lipstick! You have a real 'pop art' sensibility. Love it.
(I met Kiss years ago, btw---they came into the restaurant I worked at. They ate, like, 4000000000 tons of food, and were very, very kind. They also left great tips! I didn't get to see the long tongue, but it was still cool to see Kiss in the little restaurant I worked at...)

Hey my thanks for your time and valued comments, getting ready for bed cause need to be up early AM for work. That must have been awesome meeting the super band KISS, seen them in concert a few times. Masked and unmasked They were in fact the first concert I attended in January 1977. Tickets were 4.75 cents. The second time I seen them I was 3 rows from the stage. Caught Gene Simmons guitar pick when he tossed in the crowd.
