Black Cats are beautiful!!!
I have one too, his name is Bagheera and he is 19 years old, already a bit thin and fights (pretty successfully) a renal insufficiency since five years and not so much active anymore now!

Poor kitty...The hardest part with pets is when they're old and start to get sick. And we suffer...I love black cats too!

We, too, have a black cat and a gray cat, like the one pictured on June 14th. Our black one is what is called a "Black Smoke." Brush with the fur, he's black. Brush against the fur, he's pure white underneath. Our gray cat is a "Russian Blue" breed. Our 3rd cat has real bushy, long hair and is the breed called "Maine Coon." Just some FYI.
