G.A.R. Union Veterans of the Civil War 1861-1865 Oak Hill Cemetery San Jose, CA
My Great Grand Father enlisted as a Private in the 3rd Regiment, Wisconsin Cavalry, he never expected to find himself on the Kansas plains fighting Indians as well as Confederate guerilla units.. He is buried in a Confederate cemetery in Texas even though he was in the Union Army. information from Amazon
