He dwells in cat heaven. It never rains, plenty of mice and milk, and not a dog in sight. Charming illustration of what I'm sure was a beloved pet.

Thanks a lot, contedesfees! May everything be for him as you said. He surely deserves it.

I'm really sorry for your loss and you have all my empathy! At least he reached a considerable age. Today, five years ago (exactly) I had to put down my all beloved Felix with only 10 Years of life (Story can be read in my gallery). His mother Merline as well reached only 10 1/2 Years. Both successors (the one of Felix and the one of his mother) weren't granted a long life either (both where run over by cars in very young age). So I really can feel with you. May your pain go quickly and beautiful memories last for long. Be blessed!
Beautiful tribute!

Thank you ever so much for your kind and comforting words, FurNose! Maybe Felix, Merline and Helmut stroll around in cat heaven, now. When my wife took him from an animal shelter 15 years ago, he had already lost his tail due to a car accident. From the very first moment he had much respect for cars, already seeking shelter when he heard an engine. That was very convenient to know when he was outside. Clever bloke, not just then. Prince Charming to the fullest. A cat you can only wish for. The memories will remain. Forever!

Always hard when a beloved member of the family goes - either pet or human!

I wrote this to a different site but will say it again here. I have told every pet that has every owned me this: When my time here is done, I will meet you at the Rainbow Bridge. Don't be late.

I appreciate your comment here as much as I did on the other site. Thanks a lot!
