One of the nice things about digital assets - you can return to them st any time.

Don't remember how I made the trees. Big displacements, I think. I'll tale another look at it...

I can't open this particular version but a look at an earlier version looks like the trees are geometry, Ak - with displacements added. Sparse Convolution, no doubt.

This keeps the trees 'upright' and not sticking out at an angle from the hillsides.
