“Oh, put your gun away, Nevil, we don’t want the police swarming around the place investigating reports of gunfire. That would spoil everything.”
Nevil is furious after being brushed off by Hailey. Her order 'go to your room' really hurt his ego and he wants to 'get even'.
But as she speaks a police detective named Aram is downstairs in the kitchen with Hailey and Matilda discussing what to do about the threat.
