The skies aren't quite as extraordinary as that over here, but the 2 moths of rain in one day is a lot to take and we are faced with another week of rain — Atami, just over the hill, suffered a huge landslide yesterday

Ouch, it looks exactly like it did with us a few days ago, strong wind, lightning and thunder, rain and hailstones as big as chicken eggs, all my plants are in mourning, I just hope that they recover!

Oh yeah, that's a powerful sky shot. Though Texas isn't the "midwest," it's skies have things in common with the midwest: When you're on the plains, we get very similar skies, and very similar storms. These clouds are NOT in a good mood; and I hope you got outa there before they let you know. Wonderful swirl. You got real power in this shot.
