Description
The story of how King Pygmalion fell in love with his own creation, and how Aphrodite breathed life into the statue is told in Ovid's Metamorphoses.
I've attempted this subject before with limited success. This one is done by rendering twice with different shaders and vignetting the composite result. More successful than my previous DS3 attempts imho, (albeit its still a work in progress and rather grainy)!

This is lovely. The lighting and setting are effective. I tried a similar take on the story myself several years ago using Poser and Bryce and had her transition from the marble to flesh tones about the waist since he was touching her hand so it was like it was traveling down from there.. Technology has improved significantly since then and yours is certainly nicer looking than that attempt.
