“It Matters” Print 112 Back in the 1980s, I was a student of Sociology. Through a period of 10 years, I managed to hold a bachelor of Science degree in Sociology with an emphasis on race, and the many groupings of man, and the effect that certain groups have on each other. While I was in school, I made it my mission to read and study the indigenous people who lived here, as well as abroad. As I sifted through many of the differences and similarities between these particular groups, one characteristic came to the front of my mind. Each of these groups had a God, or deities that they prayed to. This god or many gods gave these individuals a meaningful purpose throughout their lives, and also gave them strength to live out each day. Prayer is the focal point at which we all must live. Whether it be Buddha, the Koran, or the Bible, each of us must take time out to pray. “It Matters “ to us all. I hope you all like this. Please let me know what you think
