Description
Recently one of my friends here on Rendo, Daggerwilldo, did a tribute to another Rendo friend Eekdog. In it Dag "pirated" Steve and did this to him: The Pirate OLD_EEKDOG I thought that this was such a great idea, that I decided to plagiarize... ummm, I mean borrow it, though I went a bit further to not be outdone, I "pirated" both Dag and Steve. Now granted, I did use a little artistic license (OK, a lot) when making this and I can hear the whiny comments now, "but Mioraa, you made yourself the center of attention!" Yeah, I did... and here are the reasons:
A. I'm a woman
B, Yes, the universe DOES revolve around me
C. My render, my rules... get over it
And I can also hear the whining "why do you hold a lightsaber? I doesn't belong in the genre." C'mon, I presently write and illustrate a Star Wars: The Old Republic based fanart story line, did you you really think I wasn't going to throw in a shameless plug for my own stuff? I had considered making the guys a couple of hunky Twi'leks, but then thought, "nah, that might be going a little too far."
Seriously though folks, over the years both Dag and Steve have been wonderful in helping me improve as an artist with their comments, critiques and advise. Both of them are super artists and have inspired me so much.
So to both of these fine gentlemen and amazing artists...
Thank you guys for everything, you are the best!
