Honkytonk Woman 4
She heads over to the poker table, while he just stands there.
"What's wrong honey? You going to play with me?" She coyly asks.
The pianist answers in a quiet tone, "You know I've got a gambling addiction, don't you?"
She bats her eyelashes at him and answers, "We won't play for money. I've got something else in mind. It's not gambling if everyone wins, now, is it?"
Editorial note: Many families, marriages and friendships are destroyed each year because a spouse, partner, family member or friend has a gambling addition. My dad's dad was a prime example. Having seen what it did to my dad's side of the family I would strongly advise anyone who has a hard time staying away from gambling, in all its form, to seek help from Gambler's Anonymous or a therapist who is experienced in treating gambling additions.
