I rarely do this, but I'm not posting much so I wanted to post a few pics at once. I kinda need to do this, so please bear with me.
I'm sorry to say that I'm much slower at commenting this time around than I've been in a while. I'm moving like a slug. I still have some of your galleries to visit, and a few of you to re-visit, so bear with me...I love commenting on your work, I haven't forgotten anyone.
Thanks so much for stopping by...I hope you're all well and staying cool, mark
(ps---this is good ol' Lake Michigan.....about 20 seconds after I shot this, this wave hit me like a tidal wave. I don't recommend that. And the water was frigid too) (these are fuller at full size, if you're inclined...)

Wow! What a shot! I think I felt the spray in zoom mode. I'm sorry you got wet shooting this but this is National Geographic level of photography. Bravo!
I hope you feel better, soon. You never have to worry about commenting on my images, I'd rather know you were relaxing and healing. (hugs)

What a great capture, Mark--you caught the wave just at the right moment...sorry it paid you back though...don't worry about commenting, you always put so much into them, and they are a wonderful read. But, maybe, ATM, you should not put so much of yourself into your comments--save your energy :) I too am not as spunky these past few months--Covid did a real number on me--so I understand...

Dang.... Talk about taking photography to a new level.... That is real dedication - almost drowning yourself in ice-cold water to get the shot! But what a shot... This is so full of movement, light and dark, and colors.. I can almost hear it! And now I need to get a paper towel - I think I see some splatters under my monitor! Talk about photoreal....
What a great capture, Mark!

Egads, magnificent capture, Mark. Love that wild spray. I wish I was fortunate enough to live near where crashing waves occur, be it beaches, cliffs, rocky shores, or one of the Great Lakes. And, take your time with your comments, I hardly do long comments anymore, even with Facebook photos.

Marvellous, Mark, I'm really impressed Unbelievable what a powerful photo, the water looks like grains of sand, so sharp too. I'm trying to imagine how you managed to hold your ground under this huge wave. It would completely blow me away. A wonderful shot, dear Mark, really more impressive to see in zoom. Just take it easy and take care.
