Description
The USS Excelsior is a Federation spacecraft, which was initially designed in the late 23rd century as a prototype of the new Excelsior class of the same name, with the aim of providing a new, powerful and fast ship type of the fleet. When the new type of ship finally turns out to be fit for service, it is finally put into service.
