Description

She doesn’t live, she doesn’t die… she just continues to linger there until things change somehow. Date Finalized: July 13, 2021 Software Tools: Poser 12, Photoshop CC When I’m not actively working on something like my game mods or my art, then I am probably doing exactly what I portrayed in this artwork… lingering in bed and staring at my phone until I fall asleep regardless of the hour of night or day. It’s not depression as I am not depressed. It’s all stress. I am completely and totally stressed out beyond comprehension and no amount of medication or relaxation seems to be helping. Maybe getting back to my art will help? I’ve only been back to it a few days so it’s hard to tell yet.

I'm in the same boat you're in, what with the desire to just rest awhile, no matter the time of day and then go for a good, solid night's sleep but still seems not enough rest. It's fatigue and it's common among active and productive people as yourself. You do great artwork by the way.

Recently I took a week off my regular, full-time job, just stayed at home and concentrated on one of my hobbies which is my own full-time radio station and of course a few Poser artworks over the course of time. By mid-week I was feeling so much better.

Your character is doing the right thing, which is to, on occasion, just rest and concentrate on the things that makes her happy and promotes a peaceful state of mind.

I know the feeling all too well.... Both hers and yours. I have to admit, some of my most peaceful and comfortable time is between 10:30 pm and 03:00 am, when I'm sitting in bed, laptop on my little bed-table, watching a movie, YT stuff, and/or playing with Poser with music playing.

Lots of stress here, too - wanting to get out of this money-pit house, and crappy neighborhood in the middle of a real-estate market best described as a 3-ring circus meets commando training.

Just keep doing what relaxes you, and takes your mind off the stress - it's a killer. Your art is wonderful, and it's always apparent how much of yourself you put into your work - lots of time and thought. This artwork is a shining example of that. Top-notch all the way.

I can relate to this all too well, I'm not there now but I have been there before. The image hits home the minute you look at it, I mean, look at those eyes!!! Her expression is so realistic and the lighting is just perfect. I hope you find a way to relieve the stress, be it artwork or something else.

I find art to be a good out let for me at least. We are creative beings that need to do just that, create. An expression and extension of ourselves. Since all this lock down started, I too couldn't sleep. What helped me was to serve others, just little things at first. You are a good artist I hope you find a way to ease the stress.
