Description

Okay, finding names for Character is soooho.... The surename follows with the bio sheet. This the first step for a comic, etc... I'am really excited where this will lead me Here comes the short break down: 1. Genesis 8.1 Female with additional morphs. I created the face morph in zbrush. 2. Put together an Outfit. All Items I used for the wardrobe are from daz3d and renderosity 3. Posing. Pretty simple. I used the pose from the last images. :D (Big Grin) 4. Export the top and the Character to zbrush and do some adjustments. 5. Lighting. Only used environment light. www.renderosity.com/rr/mod/bcs… 6. Rendered in Daz Studio 4.15 with iray. 3846x5000px 96dpi. (15 Minutes) 7. Rendered every clothing peace as mask. 8. Photoshop with NIK Collection. Did some color adjustments and so on. 9. Export the PSD file to procreate. 10. Resize the canvas and image to 4615x6000px 300dpi. Now we have to manage the whole render process with only 15 Layers 🙄 11. Rendered the whole image with the apple pencil by hand in procreate. This took about 5 hours. 12. Adding Outlines with Blender 2.93 Grease Pencil -> Lineart. 13. Title Name "Blaire" with Photoshop. Done! 😌 Hope you like my new character 😊

Nice job on the new character, and thanks for taking the time to outline all the steps that went into creation of the image. I am curious as to why you exported from Photoshop into Procreate to do the final composite render... why not just stay in Photoshop... is it because you wanted to add details to the image using the Apple Pencil?

Thank you 😊! Good question. 🤗 There are several reasons why I export to procreate. I don´t understand the smudge tool in photoshop. I hate this tool in photoshop.😂 In procreate the smudge tool is flexible and you can use it in so many ways. My Wacom Intuos for PC is an old one and it has its quikrs. On Ipad I can draw direct to the canvas at any place I want on this planet😉. Procreate has so many useful brushes. I don´t have to create or buy brushes, because procreate comes with a lot of them. The only brushes I baught for procreate are some hair and skin brushes. The useability with an ipad is better than a old wacom tablet.

Very cool job on the creation, the backstory and the insight into how you do it. Good work all the way 'round.
