At age 51, I'm a complete newbie in Poser, which I originally purchased so I could do virtual background performers for Star Trek: Hidden Frontier, a recently-ended fan film of which I was part.
Alas, I didn't learn fast enough, so none of my work was usable, although we do have some Poser background- and stunt-performers in our last few episodes, thanks entirely to Dan Crout's work.
I am still trying to learn how to use Poser because now we're making another fan film series, and it would be nice to have some extras that didn't take up space on our limited green-screen stage. :-)
I have a few pictures uploaded that people have been kind enough to comment favorably upon, even though I have stood on the shoulders of giants to "create" them. So far, I have done little but create a few facial expressions, tweak the light settings a bit, and occasionally bend a head or a hand from someone else's prepared pose.
My sole production so far, a Deep Space Nine era comm-badge, took me months of frustration to create, and I have yet to upload it as a freebie. I should do that soon.
I owe the community of Poser artists far, far more than I am likely to ever be able to return, and for that, I apologize. (Speaking of which, many thanks to Lady Annika for creating my avatar!)

I couldn't agree more! The worse fate we can impose on the person you referenced is to relegate him to complete obscurity and not give him the attention he so craves. Let him, his entire toxic clan, and that horrid period just become another footnote in history, while we move forward, heal the rifts and wounds that were created, and come out of the pandemic stronger than ever!

I'm glad you liked it. I used Ken Gilliland's Bald Eagle texture as the base for re-creating the American Flag eagle that Stephen Colbert used to have in the opening credits for the Colbert Report. (I call it the Very American Eagle.)

Those who make the most noise about patriotism often do the most harm to a nation in the name of improving it. Good luck to America solving that one, it's going to take a lot of work.

It is, indeed. Partly for the very reason you mentioned: the ones who are frequently doing the most harm think they're doing the best job.

nice work and commentary.

Coming from you, sir, a great compliment indeed. I hope you like the alternate texture I created for the eagle; I really liked Stephen Colbert's eagle, which was supposedly also done in Poser.

I agree 2 million bazillion percent with your observations above! I pray that enough of the non-cloudy thinkers will be able to straighten out all the messes created by all the zombies who have fallen under the spell of the orange haired yeti! I pray for that night and day!!!!! God Bless America but not the people like you say above that think they are the only true patriots!

Thank you. We live in scary times indeed.
