I love when you take a palette knife to an image. I realize your 'palette knife' may be digital, but whatever you did, you created a transformation of an underlying image. The huge ship in the background is more an apparition than a real ship...yet it has a huge presence. And the figures in the foreground are pure silhouettes---like the night is about to engulf them in anonymity. This really does feel like a last hour at the end of a vacation. Beautifully done. And that ship shines like it has one last declaration to make before disappearing into the mists. Beautifully done, Nikolay. Nostalgic and powerful work.

Does anyone feel like this picture has something to do with this "history repeated" picture? https://www.renderosity.com/gallery/items/2986941/history-repeated mario games Or maybe I was imagining things too far
