Description
I was completely without ideas for the July freebie competition over at DAZ - the Wild West has never really inspired me. Then I remembered a bit of history. A large part of the pull factor for migration to the West, including California, was mining precious metals. Also, many miners came from Cornwall. On a visit to the Levant Mine near Lands End we learnt that on days when the miner was ill, the wife would take his shift so earnings wouldn't be interrupted. It seemed logical the practice would follow the Cornish miners round the world. So, my wild west entry is a mine tunnel with a man and woman working together.
This image is classified as work in progress not because it's unfinished, but because it documents the progress of some work.
