Dear Richard, it is possible that these are lilies that bloom only once a year. You should not cut the foliage, the bulb feeds itself thanks to the foliage, you should let the foliage fade and then you should cut them before winter at a few centimeters of the ground. And next year you will have beautiful flowers again.
