Yeah, it's getting a tad warmish. I also see a thread of smoke coming from behind a hill across the lake, but no flames, even after twilight set in. Hopefully, they'll get that knocked down pretty quickly.

Chicago had a cool summer, believe it or not, and I feel very guilty because I wish I could send some of our cooler weather to the west and other places. (We had heat the last week, but it could've been October in the weeks before.) Wonderful shot as relief...and what a shot it is. Another of your intuitive magnificent compositions of amazing nature...love the bend, love the white on one side (snow) and the brown and green on the other, and the mountains in the background. Beautifully composed with beautiful light. Man what I'd do to see this sight just outside of Chicago...
