Description

Olivia is just kickin' back and enjoying a little getaway to the beach. She just wanted to let everyone know that I haven't left the planet. Yet. My money is going into some improvements to this house - not rocket rides alongside some billionaire... Sorry for my lack of activity here lately, but be assured I am close to completing Page 22, and will post it soon. Things here have been insane. I've been doing a ton of work with the house, doing a ton of digging through closets, down-sizing and getting rid of tons of stuff we don't need or use anymore, meeting with various contractors, and so on. I feel like I'm busier than I ever was when I was working. I'm already getting next week scheduled. We are having a new roof installed on the house. It's expensive as hell, of course, but we've been here 18 years, and I don't know if the previous owner ever had the roof replaced. We have found a few leaks. Plus with the current market, I'm hoping to recover the roofing costs, and more. I've already seen estimates of around $146K for this place. So I'm hoping we can sell for enough to get a really nice place - in a far better area - to spend the rest of our lives. Anyway... The jist of all this is there might be times I'm gone for a few days or a week for the next couple of months. I'll be getting caught up with all your wonderful artworks in the next day or two. Thanks for stopping by, and for all your awesome support, comments, friendships, and wonderful art! Stay safe, get those shots if you haven't, and stay safe and healthy! Rod's Lair Girls From T.N.A. She looks great and I'm sure she'll have fun.

18 years without a new roof? Not bad. I put on 2 roofs in 33 years and a 3rd one will likely be needed soon.

She is a real show stopper in her own right! A very marvelous beauty! Excellent ride she is cavorting with! Sounds like your schedule will be quite full for the forseeable future! Hang in there buddy. I predict a huge reward for all your hard work on the near horizon!

Well, you certainly have been a busy fella...hope all your repairs, etc. go as planned and smoothly. Take care while out there--this damned Covid is on the uptick and even if you are vaxed you can still have a breakthrough infection--likely mild. But who wants to get this thing, even a mild case is unappealing...oh, yeah--really like your scene--cute lil' gal :).

Absolutely delightful! She's gorgeous!

You sure have been busy... 18 years + for a roof is darn good. You got your money's worth out of that one already. Best of luck with all your efforts and I'm eagerly awaiting your next installment.

Awesome render Rod. Wish it would be summer here finally, but it seems like summer is skipped this year 🙄

Hmm! I'm not sure what to think about your roof. I mean, my house was build in 1929 (so it is not far from 100 years old) and we own it since 20 years. 10 years ago we just insulated the roof (so we lifted it slightly and replaced about 30 to 50% of the roof tiles), but it is mainly still the same roof since it was build (heck what am I doing wrong? 😆 ). Ok, $140k is really not much for a house in my country at all - you'd probably just getting a shack for that 😆 (we paid about $100k just for insulating the roof, replacing the windows and getting the outside walls painted - which is quite normal here), so I suppose, the build of my house it self might be a bit more enduring 🤔 and, yes, Our country is famous for being super expensive compared to our neighbor countries (and many others as well).

But I surely hope, you'll find the right place soon and I'm sure, doing all that repairs will pay off, when you sell the house.

Did you enter her into this year's Swimsuit Contest, out of curiosity? Or is it still too "pre-determined" from the 2014 one?

Good luck with the house, Rod, I would say, before you 'flips out', go after Olivia.
