After a rehearsal Hailey and Aram are outside the front door of the mansion. Hailey remarks that she is beginning to feel at home here but she still misses the fresh air of the countryside. Aram suggests a day trip to his home town in the Cotswalds, the hill country to the southwest. Hailey says she would love it. Matilda can pack them a picnic lunch… Is this just a day in the country or is this a chance for Hailey to meet Aram’s family and in particular Aram's sister Lydia? Aram has not yet hinted to Hailey that he has anything in mind. So maybe a bit of both. In the past a meeting with Lydia has been a way to escape from a relationship getting uncomfortably serious. Lydia, always polite, has signaled thumbs down on prior girlfriends. Of course Aram's relationship to Hailey haas not reached that point yet or has it.. Dear reader: Preparation for future events has been gradual, but the story is about to get moving.
