A dedi for a dearest friend I've known for 54 years who passed away last Thursday. RIP Donnie my friend. You will be highly missed.

I'm really sorry about your loss, Steve, and the painful way he went, and the neglect...I wish him great peace, and I wish you comfort and peace. Like Barb/goldie said, as we get older, the loss of dear ones gets harder and harder. I'm very sorry. You did a beautiful dedi for him, it's a quiet intimate setting with a warm reddish-brown staircase leading upwards (like Donnie must be, now) and those beautiful 3 cat sclptures on the stairs---with 3 great colors (there's your color-sense again). And you gave it quiet, interior shading, w/ your model in beautiful contrasting greens and blacks. (And you repeat the checkerboard pattern in the stairwells too---in the landings between stairs...a sweet and sensitive touch.) Really well angled and cropped too. You really know how to arrange space....It has a quiet inviting feeling, which is fitting for a passed friend (as if he'll come into that space and share with you once more). I'm very sorry for your loss, Steve, my greatest sympathies. A beautiful caring dedi.
