Description
1970 Mercury Cougar XR-7 Convertible
with 17 Cougar XR-7 Convertibles built with the 428 Cobra
Jet engine with ram factory air, this is the first of those
17 built. with its 4 speed, Ford engineering pulled it off
the line to equip it with factory A/C for testing. Once the tests were concluded,
it was bound for the scrap yard. Fortunately, it survived and now rotisserie
restored using NOS parts and a date code correct engine. It has the original
white top and stunning white leather interior remained the same the only color change being to it's
current Medium Blue Metallic exterior paint

Very hot, extremely gorgeous lady. If I had one, I would keep it to make the aliens shy.

That certainly is one spectacular "original restore" which is really pleasing to the eye!

A car (or rather a work of art). Fortunately, there are enthusiasts who devote time and money to restore such wonders to their original condition. Good shot.

This is quite a backstory on this finely crafted reconstruction. Really a grand auto to see.

whoa, a long sleek capture, the car looks like it's 40 feet long. Really classy, sweeping photo. And it's hard to believe it's on carpet (!), and next to a bunch of pictures on the wall, like it was in someone's living room! Sweet shot of the chrome and sweep of the beast. You really capture the feel of cars with totally natural ease.
