Description
seems like every time I go to shoot flowers or insects the wind blows hard. the ones I have shared of the gardens that was in focus, I was just lucky to shoot in between gusts
I was able to speak with a childhood friend of mine and he did not have good news. He had cancer of the prostate and a surgeon removed it for him. he retired from the postal service, the US Navy and then worked for the school district. he is a year older than myself. I missed seeing him because when I called he was in a meeting. maybe next time
I was watching the 2016 Olympics for physically challenged people and they are amazing. one man had no arms and only one leg. he nearly won the swimming competition

My favourite flowers, my grandma had those beauties in her garden among other beautiful flowers. Superb photo. Thank you for sharing, my dear Richard.

the symmetry and color splashes of the flowers really caught my eye.

actually, the foreground has some vivid sharpness, and you got a kind of flattened light which makes this appear almost like a flat graphic...I really like the feel. While this may be a "chunk" of growth, the closeup gives it the feeling that this goes on forever (even though we see patches of grass in the background.) Love the many green forms here.
