Well, you all have inspired me to start working on modeling instead of just abstracts. Here's one of my first models. It's a simple radar station, with nothing inside it yet. Just want to share the progress with you guys. My thought on this one is this; Have you ever heard stories about people in the armed forces who mess up and are sent to the north pole to monitor the radar station? Anyway, here's my quick idea on that one. Not that it actually happens, but...

Maybe it happens :) The light seems right, but at the North Pole one would encounter more ice and less water, I think. Very good work.

The atmosphere of this image is not very freezy. I'm agree with doublecrash... Maybe more ice and rounded mountains.
