your pale pinks and greens, with deeper greens and blues, make this a colored geological study. Beautiful forms, and beautiful gradations in the water. And your hazy patina makes it almost a dream. You got some salmon-pinks in the lower quarter, which are great long the shoreline. These last two shots are visually beautiful!

I should go to Google Earth and show you my home from about the same altitude. I suspect it would look as mysterious and complicated as this land is.

the area has lots of red dirt from iron deposits being the cause of the red areas. The river to the North on the Texas/Oklahoma state line is always red. thanks for your comment

I certainly try. not always possible. international flights I take an isle seat so I can walk around. I was at a great window on a flight from Manila and a flight person asked me if I would move so they could seat a young boy that was not well. the kid had his feet on the seat in front the whole time. I was afraid to bother him, because I did not want him throwing up. I was really miffed at the flight person
