Description
According to myth, Venus was born from the foam of the sea. The style and colour palette was somewhat influenced by the Deco-era painter Maxfield Parrish.

A beautiful and imaginative take on this subject: I can definitely see Parrish in that lovely tonal sky. The slightly formalised composition has just the right degree of asymmetry, and is very effective. Excellent!
