Description
A cinematographer on a cliff top films a passing airship. A woman in white stands precariously nearby, waving to one of the airship crew. What's the story here? Jakub Rozalski's 1920s+ world is peopled mostly with peasants and soldiers, but there is a leisure class. The woman in white, clearly from that class, has hired a movie maker to film the airship as it passes through the valley. Perhaps she knows someone on board and that's why she's having it filmed, or maybe she's only waving to get a reaction for a film she'll show at her next dinner party. The little dog must be hers.
The cinematographer is David in the 19th Century Suit Pak outfit with Country Courtier knickers from DAZ. He's using the free old school camera from CGtrader. The woman is V4 in the Heatwave dress, the Summer Fashion hat, and gloves from Sensibility Expansion. The just-visible crew on the airship are the LoREZ Casual Males (DAZ). The airship is Ig Yerm's Future Winans Steamship (ArtStation) with spinning props from the F42U Privateer. The spindly mech on the distant cliff is the old DAZ Steam-Mech. The cliffs are built from Mediterranean Red Rocks, the fir trees in the mid-background from Swimming Lake, the far woods are a public domain image from Pixnio by Ryan Hagerty, and the distant mountains from Snowy Mountains (DAZ). Atmosphere is provided by the fog from Cloud City. The pup is the LoREZ Dog from DAZ and the birds are from Flock Formations.
Composed and rendered In Poser 11 Pro. Inspired by artwork by Jakub Rozalski.
The artwork that inspired this render showed an airship very much like a steamship. For the steamship I substituted Ig Yerm's interesting Future Winans' steamer, which I think fits the role well.

Awesome scene with great details and depth. I've got the Winans steamship as well and need to do some renders with her. She is such a great ship and you've done an outstanding job with her and this whole scene. Really, love it.

Great work! I love Jakub Rozalski's work too, and have often thought of creating images in the same genre. This is an inspired piece - thank you for sharing
