I think there is a bug in this ancient design that has yet to be addressed. The domino effect at work here.

it's always amazing to see a road abandoned, and a lot of poles and such dotting the horizon. I love shots like these...Those bent poles: That must've been a large wreck! Plus the RR lights and bare metal framing, etc, make this feel like an industrial zone (even if it isn't). And a perfect tone for the pic---it looks like a gray, gray day...the shot has a real forlorn, abandoned feel...(this could be chicago too...)

Oops. It was probably taller than allowed. Great capture. Thank you for sharing, my dear Richard.

I guess that's what happens when they're all connected, but wow!

Oh, this must be the damage you described earlier. A half-mile away? Holy moly - whoever crashed must have been flying! Amazing no one was hurt.

That whole area is dangerous even on a good day.

every state/cities I have been in, so many people drive like total idiots. I thought it was just Texas, but the problems are every where. when I lived in Houston a coworker that knew I was going to Mexico and asked me how are the streets in Mexico. I told him that they are a little better than Houston. he laughed, but the drivers also. traffic is terrifying in the Philippines. I do not care about driving there at all. Mexico City is far worse than Monterrey for drivers
