Beautiful moss roses! My Mother used to raise them in front of our farm house. One day, a bunch of little piglets got out of the fence and found her moss roses! It didn't take them long to destroy the entire flower bed. You know what excavaters those little varmints can be. Long story short, I promptly rounded them up and herded them back into the pen and did some crazy quick repairs. Don't think the got out again that year. An Mom had to replant all her moss roses.

I never heard of moss roses (radar-rad-dude), they're so compact. Beautiful flowers, and you captured them catching the light head on. Some of them look like silk. Beautiful small roses.

They are commonly called moss roses, their actual plant name is Portulaca, I think. Not that I'm any kind of expert.. LOL My mom loved these as well.
