Description
Woot! Finally, I get to post this to the gallery! It was tied up in a shroud of secrecy as my second entry into the Swimsuit Contest. Shout out to the winners - RodS, bigjobbie, and neversayyourrealname. All fantastic images and worthy winners. Congratulations!!
OK, now for the image info. This is quite similar to an earlier image - "Brianne - Turquois". I liked it a lot, but there were a couple of things I wanted to change, and some I wanted to fix. So I figured I'd make a new one that didn't need the nudity tag and enter it in the swimsuit contest. It Sounded simple enough. But as usual, simple really never is that simple. A little over 10 hours later, I finally had the entry ready for post work.
I changed the camera angle and pose slightly to show more of her face. Of course that meant I would need to redo the hair simulation. Well, the new pose and camera angle had the hair covering most of her face, and blocking the light. So I needed to put a new primitive cube in the scene to block the hair from falling in her face. This took a few tries to get it to fall just right (I also had to adjust the original cube primitive on her left side because of the new camera angle). After I got the hair to simulate around her face the way I wanted, the camera angle was showing how the drape over her back and right shoulder wasn't settling close enough to her, and it just looked odd. Mesh grabber to the rescue!! A little bit of work with mesh grabber and the hair was perfect. Of course the swimsuit wasn't the right color, so I modified the shaders to match the color I wanted. Then I added a spot light to give her face a bit more light, added a couple more props, and it was ready to render!!!
The model is my custom character based on Brianne for here. I think everything else was from DAZ. Minor post work for levels, vignette, and light glow in GIMP.
Thanks for stopping by!!

This is great, wonderful light and render but especially the evocation off the beach by using the props in an almost abstract fashion. Nice work, the care and attention to detail really shows.
