steve's right, you really do handle water images with total ease...I've heard of kelp forests, and I remember the stalks looking like tall thin beanstalks (like jack and the beanstock, from fairy tales); but you've made them into illuminated christmas trees, with lights on them and lights on the top, and light filtering through from the sky...what a magical image, like she's swimming through a row of undersea holiday trees. I love her wings or whatever those are on her waist, floating around her lower torso...and her red hair and hands (her hair reminds me of the Bride of Frankenstein, from that great old James Whale picture). She's really illumined, Barb. A wonderful underwater fantasy, and I love your vision of a kelp forest. They're like a line of trees that surround a magical mansion...great light.

She is as spectacular as her wonderful kelp garden, Barb! I agree - your underwater images are magnificent. It's not that easy to do - I've failed miserably on numerous occasions . But you nail it every time.
