The good thing was they had their backs towards her. So she had the element of surprise. The bad thing was her she could barely stand on her own. On any given day, she could put them down in a few lightning moves. But now? Burn that cowardish orc! She spat. Oh, so near, yet so far. Then she heard it, a melodious voice, pure as crystal, and sharp as a whip. "Go, child!" Her head snapped up, surprised. It was a voice that tolerated no dissent. She mustered the last of her strength.
