just trying to push the limits of my new 3060 12gb to see how much more i can fit into a scene before it cant fit into vram and defaults back to cpu only.
My PC now has a 6 core i7 with 32gb ram and a rtx3060 as the main GPU and a rtx2070 as a second for rendering. if it renders for more than 20 minutes it is like a space heater with how much heat it throws out.

i had to overpay a bit. cost $1000 australian but we overpay here for everything even when it is not a shortage. i didnt want to miss one of the old stock with 12gb of vram as all the newer models now have 8gb so i would need to step up to 3080 just to go the extra vram from what i already had.
