The gator waits patiently for the frog to make a move--nice little snack. But it seems the frog has second thoughts about making that jump :)

you really did beautiful things with varying focus...this is very photographic, but also very graphic..I love the smooth nose of the gator, and the world of greens you have here...some in focus, some not...the leaves in the front-right are beautiful, almost like those beads you walk through when you enter some stores. (A little twig of leaves on the left, balances the ones on the right.) And a beautiful dark pond....and the frog really stands out. This is magical, like an above-water version of a tide pool. (I think of that when I see this, because of the myriad shapes and textures you have in it.) Magical and beautiful. You have a way with palettes...a number of your images have really strong singular palettes, and each one is just right for its subject material. These greens are mouth watering.
