Hello! My name is Teri and I've been around for over 69 years in various forms. I am happily married (51 years!), have two daughters and four grandchildren.
I discovered Poser 2 many years ago but didn't do much with it. In 2006 I found a copy of Poser 4 and got interested again. I was working in Poser 10 before I switched to Daz Studio in late 2017. I'm gradually getting the hang of most of it.
When not playing on the computer, I help my husband with his start-up Bio Tech business, refinish furniture, knit, crochet, and read. We grab our grandchildren every chance we get and delight in their antics.
Discovering this community has been a great source of fun and support in trying times.I am amazed at the level of talent I see in both the gallery and the products that are offered. It baffles me how little points on a screen can turn into people or trees and move. I'll always be blond I guess!
Thanks for looking.

Isolation can definitely have an effect. Nicely rendered scene.

Wonderful scene...like how you've placed your characters and used the props. I know for many this isolation has been difficult, but actually I don't find it so bad...of course, if those who refuse to get the vax would finally do so, things would return to "normal" sooner. Though, I doubt the US, or even the world, will return to the old "normal."

Every time my dog licks me, I'm pretty sure he's just sampling a future meal.

Your beautiful pictures emphasises the awareness we need to feel for all those affected by the pandemic. Lovely work!

Indeed it is. And it's going to go on a lot longer thanks to all the rampant stupidity - which is a bigger pandemic than covid... Ugh. Anyway...
You really did a fantastic job on the scene, the lighting, and her pose and expression communicate her frustration very well.

(if she thinks she's 'getting old', oh man, I'll trade places any day...) like barb/goldie says, you've used the interior beautifully with Sue and Kwon Li. Again, great use of bright white. The light in this is wonderful, and the shadows in the background (the room behind the glass, upper floor) is a really nice contrast. Sue lives in a beautifu,l clean-line, bright place---love the choice of interior. And I like your narrative about Kwon Li (getting a little stir crazy, chasing imaginary mice). Sue looks like she's in a yoga or dance pose, with a great outfit. A really complex, inviting image. Beautifully done, Teri.
(btw---Kwon Li? Great name for a cat! I once had a goldfish named "Max Schlemmer, PhD"...for real...I had a pen and pencil set in front of his bowl (with his name engraved), and a small bookshelf in his bowl. ((talk about goin' a long way for a joke)) When he died, we had a service at the Lake---for real---and people read tributes. One day I'll write his biography...)

Kwon Li is about to get very mischievous I think. Cleaning up the mess might not be what Sue has in mind. I think we all have a bit of Kwon Li and Sue inside of us. And now, winter is coming.
