Well there are far worse times a-coming, chum ...
Why are there so few dragons, eh? Where have they all gone? All but three of us have fled. We three are waiting to see if those times can be averted.
We have watched you and the rest of Mankind lay the foundations of a truly terrible future for this planet and its creatures.
Those that can get away have already done so.
The rest now depend on your actions if they, and you, are to survive and prosper.
Put your toys away and start working together for the good of all.
