These rocks are actually much larger than they appear here.
Thanks for continuing to look at my gallery, I appreciate it!

My first memory is being on Johnny Mercer pier, looking down through a knothole at the ocean below. My parents were fishing, and I recall chasing my sister with a blowfish. I can feel that sand under my feet. Low tide is a great time for walks. Fantastic image.

oh my, this is gorgeous...It's gotta be seen zoomed, the contrast of those hairy boulders with that beautiful flat sand---it's alike a ginormous Japanese garden. I forgot about those tides! I remember them in Maine: It's like the whole ocean empties out and you get these abandoned islands and seaweeds everywhere...A beautiful view, barb, it's so spacious..and if you cut it off before the houses appear, this could be an aerial view of a desolate landscape. I love the flattened seaweed--like the rocks' hair was flattened by a heavy rainfal...and the houses (all crammed together) make the perfect 'frame' to the shot. It's like you open your window, and---presto: Mars! Sprawling and beautiful.

I should try to do that in Vue, would be a fun challenge... ;)

Thank you! I read your explanation for my comment on the previous photo. These large rocks also came from the sea. Very interesting!
