when I got up at 5 AM it was 80 degrees F. the last time I looked it was 95 with the heat index from 105-110

I saw your comment about the heat---man, you guys really get the full monty down there! We're hot, but not with those heat indexes. Stay cool!

Re this shot, you're famous here for your sky shots, and this proves why. A beautiful sweep of oranges and purples, and wonderful cauldron-like clouds...The sky pops through in spots, in a deep purple-y blue. And again you use trees as your "ground"---which emphasizes the sky all the more. Beautiful. Isn't a shame sunrises and sunsets don't last? I've often wanted to scream at the sun, "can you sit still for one minute??? I just got here!" Beautiful capture, Richard.

I feel your pain, Richard. I drove to Lake Navarro yesterday; 92 degrees, humid, sun shining, clouds everywhere, raining, and indexed at 100. Felt like a South American jungle. Those clouds are amazing at sunset.
