Description
Here I could fortunately still go in time under a railroad underpass. The rain shower then subsided slowly after about 20 minutes and I could continue my walk.

20 minutes to shoot photo's, lucky you, you had this underpass and could take this very special shot. Thanks for sharing, Christian.

A really fine shot. The atmosphere becomes beautifully grainy because of the falling rain---and if we look closely, we can see the raindrops...they form straight verticals across the image.
But even more amazing is the litlte river (or creek), and how purple it looks, and how it takes us into the distance. It's very enticing. I can't help but think of the terrible floods you had in your country, a little while ago...this almost looks like a flooded street (I assume it's not). But, without that disaster lurking inside it, this is a beautiful shot of heavy rain, and how it transforms the world around it.
