Description
Found this one in the F drive archives. Interior of a 1958 LHD Jaguar XK150 DHC. One a relatively few with an auto transmission. The 150 was the first of the postwar Jaguars to eliminate the signature walnut burl interior trim. The second was the E-type..

Wow! Magnificent details on this model! I am totally impressed at the quality! A most magnificent render! Bravo!

Not a model, Radar - it's an actual car I bought in my twenties and took 14 years to restore. Sold her in 2014 to make room for another. Sometimes I miss her and sometimes I remember all of the frustrations during the process....

Thanks Starship!

Thanks prutzworks - in it's day the 150 interior was considered quite modern compared to the XK140 and not to everyone's taste though they were both quite comfortable once you settled in.

After fourteen years of restoration It ended up a pure show car though it was intended for frequent use. I think it's in Europe now.

Oh my goodness, what am I supposed to do with this luxury carriage? I don't belong to the creme de la creme, and besides that, leather seats are always cold, so you can get a bladder infection - Lol!

I'm not creme de la creme, either Ute - that's why it took so me so long to being the old girl back to life. Guessing whoever has her now is, though...:)
