oh, folklore is filled with families who are "on the road" all the time...wandering, showing-up when they're least expected...your Fehn family seems joyous---you even have one dancing on the carriage---and they convey great contentment. And you have a great green and silver-white-green theme in their clothing. (Dark olive green too.) Great characters, Ute, I love the women's head scarves, and their babies in their pouches. And the carriage has those greens too---only,, you contrast the greens with a deep saturated red, which gives us "complementary colors" (opposites on the color wheel, which creates great contrast). Terrific piece of visual contrast. And they're all nestled into a forest road with gorgeous light in the trees. We may feel sorry for the Fehns, as they can't keep a home for very long...but they sure seem to be joyous. (And I love the little child peeking out of the carriage window.) Pure delight.
