Description
I can only begin to imagine what it must have been like to experience a hurricane such as the one that hit New York recently. It must have been terrifying!
Could I compare it to the monsoons we used to get when I lived in Singapore? Probably not, but it was just as frightening as a child of five years old.
Let us not forget all those first responders who gave their lives rescuing those poor people who were trapped in the towers in 9-11.
Sadly, many never made it.
My scene is a depiction of a special place to reflect on that which has gone before and how best to celebrate our lives to the fullest.
I'm so pleased with how this Thunderbird has turned out. My thanks go to Alain for creating such a beautiful model.

That T-Bird is beautiful--and so is the gal :) Thanks for the dedi, Steve. It was a hell of a night, but luckily my area survived the worst--no wind, no flooding in spite of the tons of rain. We got 7 inches in 2 hours! A tornado even dropped in the NW section of Manhattan! Lots of nail biting during the storm for sure.
