Description
Lydia is waking up on a new world. She, her husband and pet cat landed last night at the Space Port just outside the Capital City and were whisked to the dome that would be their home for the next two years. Lydia was a diplomat assigned to help with negotiations between her home Planet and the newly independent colony. Most people wrongly assumed she was there because of her looks, and that was partially true. Her looks distracted while her sharp mind developed solutions to problems without anyone realizing what was happening until they had agreed to her plans.

love your storyline, and it has a lot of reality to it...it really does feel like a dome of some kind, all we see outside it is sky and that wild building...it's like they're floating in the sky. I love that her husband is in the background looking on, and she's on the bed---a pretty smooth bed!---reaching to the stars. She's definitely the powerful one here...The man is in the background looking on. An open and bold image, and your narrative fits it perfectly.
